The unit’s scope of work covers patent, trademark, copyright and industrial design protection, as well as other areas of IP, such as character merchandising, franchising, licensing, privacy, trade secrets and confidential information. The IP division’s dispute resolution practice group has an experienced and a respected team of lawyers advising on all aspects of IP enforcement in the courts and through other dispute resolution channels, (e.g. tribunals and regulatory authorities).
