The firm is the standing legal adviser of major Mauritian publicly listed companies and is known for its expertise in mergers and acquisitions and all forms of financing, including project financing and securities.

Mergers and acquisitions and litigation represent an important part of the firm’s practice, as well as in shipping, arbitration, taxation, constitutional and administrative law actions.

De Comarmond & Koenig is known in Mauritius for its special know-how in the field of insolvency. It has seemingly been involved in nearly all major corporate insolvencies in Mauritius. The Intellectual Property practice is carried out through a special purpose entity, De Comarmond & Koenig (International) while the Insolvency practice is carried out by CK Insol. Services Ltd. The intellectual property practice of the firm, which is among the largest of the country, is carried out through “De Comarmond & Koenig (International).”

Work in the field of financial services is executed under the name CK (Corporate Services) Ltd, which assists and acts mainly for multinationals, global financial institutions, banks and high net worth individuals. CK (Corporate Services) Ltd acts as a management company for various investment vehicles operating in the offshore sector as well as for international groups and publicly listed companies. De Comarmond & Koenig and CK (Corporate Services) Ltd have been assisting a number of international financial institutions with their Mauritius fund investments.
