The office is organized into two general areas of practice: litigation and transactional. The firm’s litigation lawyers emphasize their practices in the areas of adoptions, appeals and litigation involving business clients, collections, commercial disputes, construction law, family law, insurance coverage, insurance defense, personal injury defense, premises liability, product liability and workers’ compensation. The firm also takes select cases on behalf of personal injury plantiffs.
The transactional lawyers assist clients in all matters of business organizations including contracts, business sales and acquisitions, general business, mineral ownership, probate, real estate, and wills and trusts. Through a wholly owned subsidiary, Northern Title, the firm provides commercial and residential real estate title and closing services. Andrew L.B. Noah, a partner of the firm, is an agent for Chicago Title and is involved in issuing title insurance on both commercial and residential transactions.
Members of the firm are community and bar association leaders.
