E-Commerce Activities


2008 Annual Report:

The E-Commerce Practice Group spent 2008 rebuilding the infrastructure of the group and plans to have a more active 2009.

2007 Annual Report:

The practice group had a rebuilding year with a transition in leadership. The group will continue to work to reestablish the activity level.

2006 Annual Report:

The practice group met at Lex Mundi conferences in Costa Rica and Chicago.  The meeting in Chicago was held in conjunction with the Lex Mundi Telecommunication Practice Group.

2005 Annual Report:

The practice group held meetings at the Lex mundi conferences in Prague and Kula Lumpur.  The group held joint meetings with the Media and Entertainment at both conferences.

    Topic: Joint meeting with the Intellectual Property, Media and Entertainment and Telecommunications for a presentation on "Video Games Related Patents"-agenda; presentation- part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5, part 6, part 7
  • October 2004 Annual and Asia/Pacific Regional Conference - Auckland
    Topic: Joint meeting with the Media and Entertainment for a presentation on “News gathering and broadcasting in the Asia/Pacific region,” by Paul Cutler, Managing Editor, CNN International (Asia Pacific).
    The presentation was followed by a practice group meeting. - agenda

  • May 2004 North American Regional Conference - Boston
    Topic: Joint meeting of the IP, Media and Entertainment and E-Commerce Practice Groups to discuss internet-related issues affecting attendees' practice areas
