Purpose:
The purpose of the committee is to: (a) Plan annual conference for Executive Directors; (b) Establish a professional network among the Lex Mundi Executive Directors; and (c) Share best practices among Lex Mundi firm Executive Directors.
The committee will provide a means by which Lex Mundi member firm professionals within the role of Executive Director, or similar, (defined as the top ranking non-lawyer of a law firm), can organize and network with one another and share new ideas and information towards better business development models. The committee will allow member firms to seek ways to work together to serve clients and expand referral sources. The committee provides the benefits of allowing members to address issues in their respective roles, develop strategies, and enhance relationships among the Lex Mundi member firms and their clients.

Recap of Committee Activities:
The Inaugural Executive Directors Conference was held in Denver on October 5-7, 2006 and was a great success for the committee. The Committee recently held another meeting in Boston, September 18-20, 2008.
