This multi-jurisdictional survey on “Issues Relating to Finance” is part III of Lex Mundi’s Real Estate Survey Series. 

“Issues Relating to Finance” provides an overview of the important issues involved in the financing of real estate projects, including such topics as the method for creating a security interest or lien on real property, interest rate limitations and licensing requirements for lenders in each jurisdiction. 

The multi-part Real Estate Survey Series is being conducted by members of the Lex Mundi Real Estate Practice Group.  The lead editors for this survey are, Jim Hilton the Chair of Lex Mundi’s Real Estate Practice Group and Partner at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP and Robert Krapf, Chair-Emeritus of Lex Mundi's Real Estate Practice Group and Director at Richards, Layton and Finger, P.A.  The survey is being compiled and coordinated by Jamie Bartula, Lex Mundi Practice Group Manager.
