Don’t forget! The Lex Mundi 2026 Energy and Environmental Practice Groups Joint Meeting is meeting in London on March 05–06, 2026.
Hosted by Baker Botts L.L.P., this 1.5-day program will be held at the firm’s London office and feature dynamic discussions on the latest developments shaping Energy and Environmental law.
We are pleased to highlight two keynote speakers who will headline Thursday’s program:
• Carlos Bellorin, Executive Vice President, Welligence Energy Analytics, will address: “What will need to change or happen in Venezuela from an economic and regulatory perspective so that oil and gas activity will be successful?”
• Ms. Olivia Powis, Chief Executive Officer, Carbon Capture and Storage Association (CCSA), will deliver a keynote address on carbon capture and storage developments.

The meeting kicks off with lunch on Thursday at host firm Baker Botts followed by an afternoon of programming. Clients are invited to our Thursday afternoon session and dinner. Thursday evening features a cocktail reception at the firm and dinner at the nearby COYA City. Friday begins with a light breakfast at Baker Botts followed by morning practice group sessions. As we have in past years, the groups will meet separately to discuss relevant topics. The meeting concludes with an offsite group lunch at Keepers Kitchen, a vibrant, casual European-style bistro experience with a mix of modern British classics in the heart of London.
