Has specific legislation, final regulations or other formal regulatory guidance addressing the use of AI in your jurisdiction been implemented (vs reliance on existing legislation around IP, cyber, data privacy, etc.)?	Yes. On 2 August 2025, the Danish Act on Supplementary Provisions to the EU AI Act, Act No. 467 of 14 May 2025 ("DASPAI"), entered into force, introducing supplementary provisions to the *AI Act* in Denmark. The DASPAI does not apply to the Faroe Islands or Greenland (which are not part of the EU).
Please provide a short summary of the legislation/regulations/guidance and explain how legislators aim to strike the balance between innovation and regulation.	The DASPAI implements national measures to enforce the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689).
Which agency regulates the use of AI in your jurisdiction?	It currently designates the Danish Agency for Digital Government (in Danish: Digitaliseringsstyrelsen), the Danish Data Protection Agency (In Danish: Datatilsynet), and the Danish Court Administration (in Danish: Domstolsstyrelsen) as competent national authorities responsible for oversight and enforcement of the AI Regulation in Denmark.
