However, as for the legislative framework for AI, the competent Slovak authorities are currently taking initial steps towards drafting a legislative proposal aimed at implementing certain provisions of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 of the European Parliament and the Council of June 13, 2024, which establishes harmonized rules on artificial intelligence in EU (the AI Act). The legislative proposal is expected to be available for public consultation during the review procedure in March 2025. |
