Law No. 31814 Promoting the Use of Artificial Intelligence for the Economic and Social Development of the Country states the principles to be considered for the development and use of AI. It declares of national interest such development and uses for improving public services, health and justice, among others. The implementing regulations of such law are still pending enactment. On the other hand, the Government and Digital Transformation Secretariat issued the working document for the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy (for the period 2021-2026) to promote the research, development and adoption of AI in Peru. |
