The global Lex Mundi network continues to go from strength-to-strength after achieving the highest weighted score of any law firm network, or legal professional services network in Chambers Global 2021.

Legal network visualization graphs released by Chambers enable clients to directly compare the strength and quality of all global legal networks and those charts confirm that almost two thirds of Lex Mundi’s members were recognised, further cementing their positions as recognised leaders in their local markets.

Based on weighted scores, from the member firms' respective rankings, Lex Mundi outscored all other independent legal networks and all legal professional services networks. Networks attain higher scores if their member firms have the best rankings in the Chambers guides and the broadest coverage of both locations and practice areas.

The Chambers Global Guide ranks the top lawyers and law firms in over 200 jurisdictions across the world. Receiving external submissions from law firms and lawyers concerning a specific practice area, its rankings are based on the in-depth research of their dedicated and experienced team of researchers on several factors including technical legal ability, client service and diligence.

Through its global network of over 21,000 lawyers, Lex Mundi offers clients cross-border connections and capabilities in legal services. Last year, Lex Mundi launched Lex Mundi Equisphere®, an innovative service delivery model designed for General Counsel (GC) and their companies, with the sole aim of resolving their significant multi-jurisdictional legal and business challenges. Earlier this year, Lex Mundi unveiled a new virtual learning experience for its members, Lex Mundi Advantage. The innovative digital learning platform provides member firms with full access to the latest educational offerings and training from Lex Mundi.

Helena Samaha, President of Lex Mundi, said: “We are delighted to receive such a high accolade from a leading global directory. We know from speaking to clients that they are looking for consistent quality of advice and service across multiple jurisdictions for their international legal work, in order to best manage risk and achieve the best outcome. This message is a clear and authoritative endorsement of Lex Mundi’s ability to provide such consistency through its quality assurance methods. Through a combination of our 700 office locations worldwide and our innovative legal service platform Lex Mundi Equisphere, we are able to provide the very best support to corporate clients, and co-ordinate their complex multi-jurisdictional legal matters.”

“Our 160 firms, all leaders in their own countries, draw on deep relations and collaborative opportunities to create an unparalleled pool of expertise.”

Overall, the network is ranked in the Elite Band of Leading Law Firm Networks in Chambers Global 2021, Europe 2021, Asia-Pacific 2021, Latin America 2021, Canada 2021, and Litigation Support 2020.
